  60. You need to check the interface not the radio.  look at the pactel or
  61. any issue of qst mag there are usually several bench mark comparision
  62. in each issue as well as ads from various companies.  The fax is not
  63. like standard telephone fax for business or character recognition.
  64. But fasimile for wxmaps ref to arrl publications if you need some
  65. titles ill hunt them up for you as well as issues.

  212. I am also interested in the Timewave DSP-9.  I am especially interested
  213. in how much real audio gets through the thing.....does it take the 
  214. audio and chop it up much when it gets to the speaker?  I really like 
  215. my fidelity (such as it is from my 2.1 kHz filters), and would hate 
  216. to make it worse, though the auto notching is a very nice feature.

  232. The best TNC on the market today for ease-of-use is the KPC-3.  If you
  233. buy this it will cost you around $125 out the door.  You might seriously
  234. consider the 128K RAM upgrade as well, especially if you plan to use the
  235. mailbox all the time.

  287. and can you use "normal" modems, or i.e. a Telebit Trailblazer.
